Jennifer Livingston
Huber, President & Chief Catalyst
An expert facilitator and organization development consultant, Jennifer partners
with her clients to tap the knowledge and energy of their people to create real
business results.
She spent the early part of her career focused on generating top-line growth
in the publishing business through various roles in business development and
sales management. Recognized for her creative and collaborative problem-solving,
she was selected and trained to be an internal facilitator for a large-scale
business transformation at Thomson Reuters. As part of their internal organization
development team, she contributed to the success of a number of high-stakes change
efforts there, including operational process improvements and the integration
of acquired businesses.
Now an independent consultant, Jennifer has facilitated client groups
which:
- Turned around a troubled business unit, mediating long-standing
conflicts between sales, technology and management
- Diagnosed and addressed problems in a client’s product
development lifecycle, ultimately increasing speed to market
- Used lessons learned from a difficult product launch to improve
project management operations
- Discovered previously unexplored areas of commercial opportunity
within a chaotic market segment
Jennifer believes that engaging people with a diversity of experience,
opinion and points of view not only yields great decisions, it’s
hands-down the best way to make sure those decisions actually
get implemented. She approaches her work with passion and – wherever
possible – a sense of fun.
Jennifer graduated from the University of North Carolina with a
B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication. She has also acquired
extensive professional training from such leaders in the fields
of organizational dynamics and group facilitation as Ian MacDougall
and Bob Marshak.
She lives in downtown Philadelphia with her two children and
enjoys all that the city has to offer, from hikes in Fairmount
Park to museums and galleries to live music in venues both large
and small. She supports the local arts community through her
work with Business Volunteers for the Arts and is actively involved
in her kids’ schools, sports and extracurriculars.
Jennifer is a member of the Organization Development Network, the
International Association of Facilitators, the Greater Philadelphia
Chamber of Commerce and Center City Proprietors Association.
